The Big River Beef TeamBig River Beef is a group of like-minded and innovative beef cattle producers from Northern New South Wales (NSW), Australia. After becoming frustrated with the inconsistent quality of beef being sold to the average Australian household, we decided to work together to market our beef directly to the community.

We practise continuous improvement through management and care of our stock and land and share information on how to improve our product and farming practices.

Our meat is processed to Meat Standards Australia (MSA) specifications with a full range of cuts available. Our partnership with Holiday Coast Meat and Smallgoods, means our beef is packed to your specific requirements, whether you are a single person or a large family.

We will ensure the meat is packaged into portions tailored to your needs and ready to go straight into the freezer.

A half yearling packaged will fit into a 150 litre freezer. We offer free delivery in Northern NSW, Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne for minimum orders of half a yearling.

Our consistent and quality flavour was developed from a marketing project undertaken in 2007 by Clarence Valley Beefplan Group. It was a Meat and Livestock Australia producer-driven program aimed at developing innovative beef cattle enterprise management systems.

Based in Northern NSW, our beef is sourced from our farms in the Glenreagh, Kangaroo Creek, Grafton, Bonville and the Inverell areas.

We undertake a variety of environmental, social and economic activities to improve our sustainability, including field-trials, on-farm information sessions, social gatherings and seminars.
